David remembers his coveneant with Jonathan and takes his son into David’s own family, a reminder of God’s new convenant with us where we are his sons and daughters now too, eating at his table.

David and Jonathan spend time together for their last time. Saul and Jonathan appear to reconcile. We have been reconciled to God and have a ministry/task/mission of reconciliation.
